In January 2012 Quality Services switches to Greenlease.

The first car has been delivered and the entire fleet will gradually be converted to Greenlease.

The Greenlease principle consists of selecting fuel efficient cars, a training 'New Driving' for the drivers to drive more economical and safer and finally a full compensation of the remaining CO2 emissions through sustainable energy- and forest projects.

Quality Services would like to contribute with Greenlease to the reduction of CO2 emissions and adverse climate effects.

Miles of dangerous piping in the Netherlands

In half of the Dutch municipalities is still a dangerous cast iron gas main pipe in the ground. Tjibbe Joustra, Chairman of the Safety Board, has recently called the pipe systems "ticking time bombs”. In many cases the cast iron pipes are being replaced with plastics pipe systems. Before and during the installation of the plastics pipe systems Quality Services is active in both quality control and certification regarding the welders and the produced field welds.

NTA 8080 accepted as Dutch sustainability system

The Dutch government has accepted NTA 8080 for 2011 as a system to prove the sustainability of biofuels.
Companies that bring biofuels to the Dutch market, have to prove that the biofuels comply with European sustainability criteria. This can only be done with sustainability systems that have been approved by the European Commission or by the Dutch government.

NTA 8080 is also under evaluation by the European Commission to be recognized as a European sustainability system.

Quality Services Certification is recognized by the Dutch Standardization Institute (NEN) as Certification Body for NTA 8080 certification of sustainable biomass.
