Concrete cladding

Concrete structures may be provided with a coating to protect the concrete or as a barrier to moisture and/or gases. Cladding of this type is used for example with concrete structures in water purification installations.

Inspection 
QSI's inspection activities may include:
  • the assessment of the welding methods to be used;
  • the assessment of the competence of the welders to be deployed;
  • assessment of the welding process before and during the execution of the welding activities;
  • checks of the result by means of visual inspection, followed if necessary by leak testing using the vacuum or spark testing methods.
BetonbekledingThrough their expert evaluation of the welding process, QSI contribute to the prevention of welding defects. Once the work is complete the welds will be inspected and checked for compliance with the specified requirements.
The inspection findings will be set out in a report for the client, accompanied by a declaration of conformity if applicable.
