Recycling comnay Omrin received the Better Biomass certificate for its digestion facility at Ecopark De Wierde. This facility produces green gas from several residual streams.Managing director Recycling of Omrin, Hein Grafhorst, received the certificate by Ferd Crone (vice-chairman of Groengas Nederland and Major of Leeuwarden). Crone praised the ‘Omrin approach’ with the words “Greener than Omrin doesn't exist!
QS Certification has independenlty assessed the sustainability of the installation and the origin of the biomass streams.
